Mitsubishi triton cab chassis scores reversing camera for 2017

Mitsubishi Australia has announced that every model in its triton range will now be available with a reversing camera, with an update to the optional hard tray accessory packs now extending the feature to GLX Cab Chassis variants.

Engineered to fit this specific body style, the safety technology has been incorporated into the design of the 207 model year genuine hard tray.

The revised genuine parts package - inclusive of the reversing camera - costs between $1191 and $1750 depending on tray configuration. These prices do not include dealer fitment and charges.

Currently, all pick-up derivatives of the triton come with a reversing camera, while it has not been offered with the GLX Cab Chassis until now.

According to Mitsubishi motors Australia executive director of marketing Tony Principe, the availability with a reversing camera reinforces the Japanese company's commitment to safety.

"By offering a genuine rear view camera solution, we are able to offer triton customers safety technology, without breaking their budget," he said.

"The Triton Cab Chassis continues to be a popular choice in the market, and we are committed to offering important safety technology like this to all of our customers."

From this month, customers can order a triton GLX Cab Chassis with hard tray accessory pack.
